By signing up for or using VisaPlace services, including by opting in to receive SMS or MMS messages, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Message Program Overview

VisaPlace provides important updates regarding immigration cases, consultation coordination, and relevant legal information via SMS/MMS messages. Message frequency will vary based on your case status, engagement, and preferences.

Examples of messages you may receive include:

Appointment Reminders: Confirmations for scheduled legal consultations.

Case Status Updates: Alerts regarding the progress of your visa or immigration file.

Document Requests: Notifications when specific documents are required for your application.

Service Information: Updates regarding VisaPlace services or immigration news.

3. User Consent and Opt-In

You must opt in to receive SMS/MMS messages from VisaPlace by:

Submitting a phone number through a web form with an explicit checkbox indicating consent.

Texting a keyword (e.g., JOIN, START) to our dedicated short code or long code.

Signing up through another legally compliant method during the client intake process.

By opting in, you agree to receive automated or manual text messages from VisaPlace.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You are solely responsible for any charges incurred through your wireless carrier.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out at any time by replying:

STOP – to stop receiving messages.

HELP – to get customer support or information.

Once you opt out, you will no longer receive further communications via SMS unless you expressly opt back in.

6. Privacy

7. User Responsibilities

Regulatory or technical issues.

VisaPlace is not liable for any delays, message failures, or losses due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to messaging services at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability under these Terms will not exceed $100 or the amount paid by you for our services in the last 12 months, whichever is lower.

14. Mobile Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messaging is provided on an "as available" basis and subject to termination at any time by VisaPlace or participating carriers.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and VisaPlace concerning your use of our A2P messaging services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
